When we initially took the pub on with Star Pubs at the end of May 2023, we were delighted to be featured on the front page of the Tamworth Herald.
And we featured again, when we took the pub on permanently in March 2025 ahead of the full refurbishment of the pub exterior, bar and lounge areas.
FOOTBALL CRAZY
We are both massive Tamworth FC fans, and at the end of 2024, The Lambs had a great run in the FA Cup, culminating a 3rd Round home tie against Tottenham Hotspur.
We were delighted to welcome BBC Breakfast's Mike Bushell to the pub twice over this period. Once before Tamworth played Burton Albion, and once before the Spurs game enjoying two nights in the pub with fans, who were interviewed and sang for the cameras, and we even had a special visit from TFC player Tom Tonks!

We would also like to highlight the involvement of the Dolphin Inn in a local college media project which recreated scenes from one of our favourite movies - cult film 'Shaun of the Dead'. You can watch it on YouTube here.
